GPC Cares! Oregon Food Bank on January 10, 2019

GPC-AACN is part of the Oregon Food Bank volunteer community!   

Last year, volunteers packed more than 14.5 million meals and contributed more than 180,000 hours of service. We run food-repack shifts 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, mornings, afternoons and evenings. Shift lengths are between 2-3 hours.  GPC-AACN is signed up to volunteer at the OFB Beaverton Perishable Repack Room on January 10th, 2019.  Space is limited, so sign up soon!

What is the Perishable Repack Room? Volunteers repackage and label bulk frozen food items into family-size portions in temperature-controlled (50°F) room. Volunteers must be able to lift 5 pounds. Shifts can include multiple small projects, depending on the needs of the Oregon Food Bank Network. Please be flexible and keep an open mind when joining these shifts. Minimum age is 6 in Beaverton; youth under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
