The Nightwatch SE Hospitality Center is open to guests on Saturdays from 5 pm - 8 pm. The center serves a hot meal, provides showers, and provides a place of welcome and fellowship for those living outside in this area of the city where those without housing are plentiful but services are scarce.
Volunteers play an important role in providing assistance, openness, and social companionship to those who come through our doors each Saturday evening.
Upon our arrival at 4:15pm, we will have an orientation so we know about how the evening will proceed. This orientation provides important information about safety and helping with the set up.
Also, please dress warmly and bring layers, as we might be outside for a small portion of the evening, Volunteers are asked to be present from 4:15 to 8:30.
While other agencies focus on providing housing, food, and clothing, Operation Nightwatch’s unique vision is to address people's social isolation. We welcome each person who comes to us, just as they are. No one is required to conform to any particular belief or faith practice in order to receive our services.
