Speaker Bio: As bioMerieux’ Clinical Education Managers covering the West, Karen is responsible for educating providers and staff in the proper utilization of procalcitonin and a newly introduced biomarker, NephroCheck, used in the early risk assessment and prevention of Acute Kidney Injury. Karen received her BS in Biology from The College of William and Mary and her BS in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University.
